AFTER CARE
Aftercare Dermal Filler
* Avoid alcohol & make-up for 24 hours
* Keep well hydrated (2-3 Litres of water for 3 days post procedure)
* Swelling and bruising can last for up to 2 weeks
* Avoid exercise and heat treatments for 24 hours
* If you suffer from cold sores you are at risk of activating them.
Use over counter medication or see your GP
* A non-drowsy anti-histamine can reduce swelling
* Ice can be applied to reduce swelling (not directly)
* Paracetamol can be used as pain relief but NOT ibuprofen or aspirin
* Arnica cream can be used to reduce bruising
* Final results can be seen in a number of weeks, not immediately
* Wear a high SPF sunscreen to minimise skin damage and prolong results
* You MUST contact us in the first instance if any complications or concerns arise
Aftercare Anti-Wrinkle
* Avoid touching the area for 24hrs.
* Avoid alcohol & make-up for 24 hours
* Swelling and bruising can last for up to 2 weeks
* Avoid exercise and heat treatments for 24 hours
* Ice can be applied to reduce swelling (not directly)
* Gently exercise your face by smiling, frowning or raising eyebrows.
* Arnica cream can be used to reduce bruising
* Final results can be seen in 2 weeks, not immediately.

Aftercare PDO Threads
* Pulling & Scratching sensation is normal, it will disappear within 5 days
* Gently cleanse the area, DO NOT rub or massage the area for 2 weeks
* Swelling and bruising can last for up to 2 weeks
* Avoid hot or cold temperatures for 10 days
* Avoid anti inflammatory medication, inflammation is necessary for the production of new collagen. Paracetamol only.
* Stinging, pulling, tight or tender is normal up to around 2 weeks.
* Avoid opening your mouth wide for 2 weeks. No biting into apples, it can break the threads.
* Popping sound may happen around 7 days is normal. Its collagen forming.
(You may potentially need a 2 week review.)
* No Laser, IPL, RF on the area for 10 weeks.
* Avoid alcohol for 7 days.
